The award was handed over by a representative of the United States Embassy in Indonesia and received directly by the Head of the Immigration Office Ngurah Rai Sugito on February 7 2023.
In the letter signed directly by the number one person in the United States, Joe Biden expressed his appreciation for the hard work of Ngurah Rai’s Immigration staff in supporting the success of holding the G20 Indonesia presidency in 2022, especially in handling immigration for the United States delegation.
Head of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office Sugito said that this award was the fruit of the hard work of employees and other parties who also supported Ngurah Rai Immigration in carrying out its immigration duties and functions optimally.
“This award is the fruit of the hard work of employees in supporting the administration of the G20 presidency, both those on duty at the Ngurah Rai Airport Immigration Checkpoint and those on duty at the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office. We should be proud because our performance is appreciated, so use this appreciation as motivation to provide even better performance,” explained Sugito.
The Head of the Bali Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Anggiat Napitupulu also appreciated the hard work of Ngurah Rai’s Immigration staff in supporting the success of holding the G20 Indonesia presidency in 2022, so that he was awarded the number one person in the United States, Joe Biden, directly.
